What causes an Err message and a chirp. Now what should I do. Have removed the battery and the same thing happens.
Jim- I did some reading and have not found to many cases like yours. Depending on the age of your unit you may try and return it. I have a feeling that you have a faulty sensor which is indicating the battery is low when in fact it is not.
If you go to Kiddie.com you can download specific manuals for your unit, ours also had the same chirp and error code. It turns out the unit has reached the end of its life and needs to be replaced as it is no longer detecting.
